Previously the Election Committee announced that the Wilde Lake Village Board of Directors election resulted in a tie for the fifth board seat. Candidates Felisa Garrett and Larry Schoen were tied for this seat. Candidate Larry Schoen has withdrawn his bid for a seat on the Wilde Lake Village Board allowing Felisa Garrett to be elected to the fifth Board of Directors position: Final Election Results [PDF]. The candidates will serve a term beginning in May 2026 through April 2027.

The Election Committee met this afternoon for a ballot recount. Please see below for a special announcement.
The Election of the Wilde Lake Village Board was held on Saturday, April 25th. The outcome of the election resulted in an apparent tie. Pursuant to the Wilde Lake Community Association’s Bylaws Article 8; Section 8.08 when a tie occurs a recount is required. In the event the tie persists after a recount, a run-off election will be scheduled. Further updates will be provided in the coming days.
