Maryland State Arts Council (MSAC) award winner Kalinka Dance Ensemble is starting their 21st season at Slayton House! This dance group studies and performs folk dances of Eastern, Northern, Central Europe, as well as Russia and Asia.

Classical Bhartnatyam Classes with Taal Academy of Dance
New students of Classical Bhartnatyam and Indian Dance Bollywood are welcome to register for classes at Slayton House in Columbia (Howard County) with Taal Academy of Dance! Taal Academy of Dance was founded in Washington, DC in 2015 and now offers classes in both DC and Maryland. The academy has performed at many events in the DMV area including performances at Vice President Kamala Harris’s Diwali Celebration, NBA halftime shows, and for the DC Mayor’s Office.
*Taal currently has openings in its Classical Bhartnatyam class held at Slayton House Thursdays from 5:30-6:30PM. Other classes may be added based on demand.*
