Wilde Lake CARES Tree and Shrub Giveaway, Applications Due Oct. 1

Green up your property with Columbia Association and Wilde Lake CARES! Applications for this year’s tree and shrub giveaway are due on October 1, 2026. Some details about the program:

• This program is open to property owners in the Village of Wilde Lake. Plants may also be requested for cul-de-sac and HOA beautification projects in the village.
• Plants will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. We hope you will consider any of the plants in this year’s inventory (see form linked below – the black gum pictured here is an option!).  They are all wonderful natives with high wildlife value.
• Residents who have received a free tree from Wilde Lake in the past are eligible to participate.
• You must pick up your plant(s) on Sunday, Oct. 11 from the Barn at Wilde Lake Park (10125 Hyla Brook Road). Residents are responsible for picking up their plants. Volunteers will be available to help you load the plant(s) into your vehicle.
