Exhibiting Artists

Andrea

Andrea Williams

Andrea Williams is a portrait and food photographer who finds beauty in both the dark, moody spaces of life and the bold, colorful moments. While large crowds aren’t usually her scene, she thrives in one-on-one portrait sessions—moments she describes as some of the most magical experiences possible.

Though photographing people is her true passion, Andrea also enjoys capturing rich, enticing images of food. Her creative pursuits extend beyond photography into experimenting with new cameras, painting, and graphic design.

Anthony Williams

Anthony Williams

Anthony Williams is a wildly imaginative self-taught digital artist who has been creating cartoony worlds, characters, and images since 2010. Influenced by everything from ’90s animation and Adult Swim to comic strips, video games, metal, punk rock, and horror movies, Anthony uses digital tools to create works filled with satire, sarcasm, and shock value—delivered in bright, colorful packaging.

He enjoys making art that draws viewers in while leaving them slightly taken aback, embracing the tension between playful cartoon aesthetics and darker themes.

You can explore his work on Instagram at @anthonywilliamscreates and at creativeravens.net.

Charlotte Mann Lee

Charlotte Mann Lee

Charlotte Mann Lee (b. 1996) is a visual artist based in Columbia, MD. Working primarily in watercolor and acrylic, she creates expressive portraits and landscapes that reflect her Christian faith, spiritual journey, and connection to nature.

Charlotte’s recent watercolor series explores the interplay between figures and environment through a double exposure technique—layering portrait and landscape imagery into unified compositions. She often incorporates embroidery to highlight floral and water motifs, drawing inspiration from the Bible, natural forms, and personal experience.

She was the first Emerging Artist Resident at the Howard County Center for the Arts (2019–2020) and joined Long Reach Studios in 2020. Her work has been exhibited locally at venues including the Columbia Art Center and the Howard County Center for the Arts. Since 2015, she has also completed numerous private commissions.

Charlotte holds a BA in Studio Art (with Honors and an Advanced Specialization in Painting) and Art History from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Cori Bowen

Cori Bowen

Cori Bowen is a visual artist specializing in acrylic paintings, with a focus on abstract expression and contemporary portraiture. Her work explores the emotional landscapes of color, form, and gesture, inviting viewers into layered narratives that feel both intimate and expansive.

She holds a B.F.A. in Printmaking from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), a foundation that informs her thoughtful composition and dynamic use of surface. Her paintings have been exhibited nationally, and she was recently awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2025 Blossoms of Hope exhibit at the Howard County Arts Council.

Rooted in both intuition and technique, Cori’s work continues to evolve as she experiments with the tension between spontaneity and structure. She currently lives and works in Columbia, MD, where she maintains a studio practice.

Julie Henneberg

Julie Henneberg

Julie Henneberg is an acrylic painter, printmaker, and children’s book author and illustrator. She earned a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York.

Her work explores the connection between human experience and the natural world, often depicting human and organic forms morphing into one another.

Born and raised in Ellicott City, Julie continues to draw inspiration from the area’s rich history and natural beauty.

Kory Sutherland

Kory Sutherland

Kory Sutherland is a multi-media artist specializing in hand-cut paper. Her art practice explores family and environment through depictions of personal artifacts and objects from nature. Currently, she works with her three-year-old to turn toddler doodles into spangled and sculptural three-dimensional works.

She holds a Master’s degree in Gender Studies from San Francisco State University and is also a Master Watershed Steward.

Kory Sutherland’s work can be found on Instagram @granddaughter.koreopsis.

Maureen

Maureen Cogan

Maureen Cogan worked as a professional portrait photographer for ten years while raising her children. She earned certification as a Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America.

During that time, she photographed families, high school seniors, executives, and children. Her work appeared in Professional Photographer Magazine, and a British publication once commissioned her to photograph an executive at W.R. Grace for a feature article. She also photographed the cookbook La Cucina Semplice, taught photography at Howard Community College, and authored a business guide titled Hindsight is f/20, available on Amazon.

In recent years, Maureen discovered the clean and minimal aesthetic of cyanotypes—a process she now embraces for both its technique and visual impact.

Nick Stern

Nick Stern

Nick Stern started painting and studying art as a young teen, focusing on landscapes and portraits.

What began as a brief hiatus lasted 25 years. Then after a life-altering medical emergency in 2020, he returned to painting.

His landscapes and portraits emerge from themes in his photography. The abstracts are experimental and incorporate fragments of narrative. There is a sense of convergence on line, color, and pattern in the pieces.

A resident of Columbia, he exhibited a series of paintings at Art@thePark in Annapolis in October, and sells through private showings. You can find his work on Instagram at @zpatt.ern or contact him at [email protected].
