WLCA Seeking Representative for CA’s Watershed Advisory Committee

Are you interested in serving the Wilde Lake Community?

Do you have knowledge about storm water and the environment?

The Wilde Lake Community Association is seeking a representative for Columbia Association’s Watershed Advisory Committee (WAC).

The mission of this committee is to participate in the creation and implementation of CA watershed plans, enhance public awareness and facilitate education on watershed issues.  Visit the CA website to read the WAC Charter.


  • One year term with annual reappointment
  • Meetings 6 times a year (every other month) in the evenings
  • Send committee report to the Wilde Lake Village Board after each WAC meeting
  • Provide educative materials to the WLVB for weekly e-newsletters and community events

Prior Experience and Knowledge

  • Knowledge about storm water pollution, policy, laws and control methods
  • Educational background and interest in watershed issues. Ideal position for a Watershed Stewards Academy graduate (not a requirement).
