Wilde Lake-Downtown Multi-Use Pathway

The Site Development Plan for the Wilde Lake Multi-Use Pathway (SDP-19-036) is scheduled to be presented to the Howard County Planning Board at its meeting on Thursday, June 20, 2019 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Banneker Room, located in the George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, Maryland, 21043.

Under Council Bill 58-2009 (the Downtown Columbia Plan), HRD as the Community Developer for Downtown Columbia, prior to issuance of a Building Permit for the 2,600,000th square foot of new development in Downtown Columbia is to construct the Wilde Lake to Downtown Columbia Multi-Use pedestrian and bicycle pathway. The pathway will be located along the north side of Twin Rivers Road, from Faulkner Ridge Circle to Governor Warfield Parkway.

The development consists of approximately 3,250 linear feet of a multi-use pedestrian and bicycle pathway to be constructed within Columbia Association Right-of-way and public Right-of-way.
The scope and design of the new pedestrian and bicycle pathway have been guided by the Downtown-wide Design Guidelines and Multi-Use Pathway Guidelines.
