Slayton House Inclement Weather Policy
Changes to our operating schedule due to inclement weather or other emergency situations are posted on the home page of our website and on our Facebook page. In addition, the inclement weather voicemail message (410/730-3987, ext. 4) is updated and a notice is sent to our e-mail distribution list.
Among the factors that are considered when making a decision to delay opening or close Slayton House are the safety of our employees, local road conditions and whether sidewalks & parking lots can be cleared in a timely manner.
Please note that we do NOT follow the HCPSS school delays and closings schedule. However, as a general rule, if state and county government offices are closed, Slayton House will be closed.
