DESCRIPTION:Wilde Lake CARES is pleased to present its Plant Exchange at Wilde Lake for the 7th year running. This event is open to everyone. Bring your unwanted plants\, seeds\, gardening tools\, pots\, etc. and swap them for other items. We accept all kinds of non-invasive plants: house plants\, vegetable seedlings\, trees\, shrubs\, perennials. Please arrive by 11:30am with your plants\, etc. The Exchange will open promptly at noon and we expect all items to be taken immediately! We will be set up on the Village Green in Wilde Lake Village Center. From Wilde Lake CARES: \nWinter\, assuming it doesn’t get so cold the lakes freeze\, can mean ducks! Join Wilde Lake CARES for a bird walk where we hope to see Bufflehead and Ring-Necked Ducks\, as well as the ubiquitous non-migratory Canada Geese and Mallards of uncertain heritage. In addition\, there can be the winter suite of songbirds. I’d be willing to bet we could turn up White-throated Sparrows and Dark-Eyed Juncos. Let’s explore!
