WILDE LAKE PROPERTY STANDARDS EVALUATOR (PSE) FAQs
When is the program starting and how long will it take?
The PSE will begin inspections in late June 2019 and continue through December 2019.
How many properties are being inspected?
684 single family homes and 440 townhomes. In addition, 10 condominium & apartment complexes will be evaluated in a secondary inspection.
Am I required to maintain my property?
Yes, when you purchased your home, you agreed to the conditions of the Wilde Lake Village Covenants which require that you keep your property in good repair.
How are properties evaluated?
The PSE uses a standardized form to evaluate each property based on the same criteria, which were created using the Wilde Lake Village Architectural Guidelines and Maintenance Standards.
Will the PSE note unapproved alterations?
No, the PSE will focus on maintenance issues only.
How will I be informed of the results of the inspection of my property?
Property owners will receive postcards in the mail with the results of the PSE’s inspection.
Is this the same as a Letter of Compliance inspection?
No, the PSE inspection is not as comprehensive as nor a substitute for the Letter of Compliance inspection. If you are planning to sell your home, please contact the Village Covenant Advisor to arrange for a full compliance inspection.
Has this been done in the past?
Yes, the PSE program was in Wilde Lake in 2004 and 2012.
