Trees, Grafitti & More
TREES
I want to remove a tree from my property. Is approval required?
In Wilde Lake, Columbia Association approval is required prior to removing trees having a diameter of 6 inches or more. Click here for the Wilde Lake Tree Removal Request form. Contact Jeri Baker, CA Open Space, at 410/381-0194 (ext. 2510) or jeri.baker@columbiaassociation.com.
My neighbor's tree branches are overhanging my property. What can I do?
Property owners have the right to cut branches and roots from trees on neighboring properties that stray onto their property. Please note that owners may only trim up to the boundary line, may not enter the neighbor's property without permission, may not cut down the tree itself and cannot injure the tree by the trimming.

What should I do if I see grafitti in the Village?
Take a photo, if possible, and contact the non-emergency police number at 410/313-2200 to report the location of the grafitti.
